Originally formed in the small East Bay Area city of Brentwood, CA in March of 2015 by drummer Ty Douglas and his life long friend, guitar player and vocalist, Ivan Sang. Over the years, they have transformed their sound to a stoner rock music band by adding bass player Isaac Rucker & Tasker Goldston as lead guitarist. They have since recorded 2 EP's and two albums and continue to write songs and perform as often as they can. Early influences were definitely punk, but still heavy. Two early E.P.s will attest to this. As the band matured and evolved, their sound got heavier and heavier until it is what you hear today. Now set in stone as a four piece, Smoke headed back into Nu-Tone Studios in Nov of 2020 with 10 songs ready to go taking inspiration from the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Nirvana, Sleep, and more. As a result of their latest album "Fast Times", Smoke also has a solid reputation as an in-your-face live act guaranteed to be loud and on point.
